About Vikki
Originally from the UK, my creative perspective shifted significantly after relocating to New Zealand. What began as a love of traditional nature and botanicals evolved into a deeper connection with the ocean and coastline. The transition between hemispheres reshaped not only my colour palette but the focus of my work, introducing marine blues, sunlit greens, and a stronger coastal influence that now underpins many collections.
With a background in environmental and marine science, my designs are informed by real ecosystems, close observation, and lived experience. That scientific foundation continues to shape how I approach pattern design, through structure, repeat logic, and careful consideration of how individual motifs function within a cohesive whole.
Each collection begins with hand drawing or painting before being refined into seamless, industry-ready vector patterns. While I occasionally create standalone prints, the majority of my work is developed as cohesive collections designed to translate across textiles, homewares, stationery, and lifestyle products.
The focus is on work that is commercially versatile, visually enduring, and rooted in authenticity.
I license artwork on both exclusive and non-exclusive terms and welcome collaboration with brands, manufacturers, and licensing agents seeking thoughtful, human-made design.
